Next Gen Discipleship Pathway
At Icon Church, we structure the Next Gen ministry into three groups according to the mental, emotional, and social development so that we can be effective in our approach toward discipleship.

Kinders
During the early stages of development, kids are concrete thinkers. They make sense of new knowledge by experiencing the physical world. Our focus is to help the kids learn the “What” of the Christian faith through the stories in the Bible which are the building blocks for their faith.
Kids at this age are closest to the adults who care about them. They watch and learn about their faith mostly from their parents, guardians, grandparents, and their Sunday School leaders. We encourage the parents and guardians to be intentional in teaching them about God day by day.
Young kids often imitate the adults in their lives in the way they interact with the world around them. We want to model for them what it means to be like Jesus and give them opportunities to be helpers to those around them too.
